ABOUT MARIA
Maria Denzler is a writer, photographer and part-time collector of feathers. She was born and raised in Northern Nevada, the granddaughter of Basque immigrants, and holds a degree in Renewable Natural Resources from the University of Nevada, Reno. When not traveling, she spends her time exploring the intersection between the written and photographic stories of the Great Basin.
Maria is currently writing a novel called American Kestrel, a story set against the dynamic desert landscape of the West.
